Natasha is always very thorough. She offers great advice on products and how to care for my hair in between visits. Also perhaps I should have said a bit more about the new girl that did the conditioning & washing as i know feed back would be useful. Her attention to detail was very good & she took time to make sure all shampoo was removed from the back of my neck & that she didn’t get my clothes wet. She also made sure water temperature was good at all times & gave very nice head massage. I thought she did very well & would be happy to have her again.

My experience as always with Tash was amazing today. I wanted to try something new for the end of the summer. I had an idea of what I wanted, and as soon as I told Tash she knew exactly what I meant. Got a haircut here – stylist was attentive and listened to a poorly explained idea of what I wanted for my hair and did a brilliant job making it a reality. For the service it is good value and never been happier with a hair cut. Staff are very friendly.

The salon itself is a gorgeous salon and they treat you so well – checking you up for refreshments etc. I couldn’t believe Leah isn’t fully qualified yet as her results are so beautiful and stylish. I have no idea about hair care or hair styling and I have always struggled with my curly hair and she was so kind to give me honest advice and give me lots of options. She was such a lovely girl and didn’t stop until my hair was perfect. I can’t wait to get my top up in December!

Sophie is an excellent hairdresser! She expertly corrected my bad home cutting! She was friendly and explained all she was doing and the way forward for the style I wanted. I prefer to sit quietly, with a little chat and she picked up on this, which made the whole experience really enjoyable.

As ever, Shona really took the time to discuss my options for hair colouring and cut in detail, which I appreciate. I was very satisfied with the result. The best hair Salon in Devon! I am absolutely petrified of trying new hair stylists, especially with my long thick corse hair! But the amazing people at energy hair changed my mind! They offered me a wonderfully relaxing experience with dreamy massage chairs & a head massage that quite literally took all my stresses away!! I left feeling recharged, with a fabulous hair transformed from dry lockdown damage – my Stylist Emma really did work some pure magic!! I feel like me again, empowered and ready to take on the world!! Looking forward to Emma working more magic with a balayage for my next appointment which I’ve already booked in! Brilliant hair cut I had my hair cut today by Zoe . She was brilliant, put me instantly at ease as I was apprehensive about not using my usual salon in London due to the pandemic. She took time to understand what I required , listened to me and did a brilliant cut , much better than many cuts I’ve received in top London salons that charge twice the price . Ray was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I mattered, especially as I was so embarrassed about the state of my hair. After a bad colouring experience at another salon, & 14 months of self neglect due to having a baby with additional needs. I was in desperate need of some R&R.He’s given my hair a new lease of life, I feel my age again! Another very relaxed visit to Energy Hair today, all credit to Nathan and the staff with covid safety, you feel very safe and at ease. The staff are all so friendly, smiling and make sure that you are totally pampered. Ellie P, my hairdresser is amazing. Total expert on how to cut my very thick hair, which has been a challenge in the past for other salons. She totally knows how to sort it out to make it manageable for me on a day by day basis. I come to Energy Hair from Bristol because I love the way that Ellie cuts / colours my hair. She takes a real interest in what I want, or will offer advice about what I could have done. This isn’t always the case in other salons.It’s a friendly salon, with lovely extras like the massage chairs and head massages. Well worth the 3 hour round trip!

They also did my wedding hair and make up 6 years ago.It’s run by a lovely team, and the salon is the perfect setting. The hair wash area is screened off from the hustle and bustle of the main salon and they have state of the art massage chairs. The main salon is comfortable, spacious, light and kept clean. My daughter considers it a special treat getting her hair cut as she loves going there!The customer service is brilliant – one time I was late because of awful traffic and so missed my slot with my usual lady so Nathan, the salon owner, offered to cut my hair instead as I was having it cut for a special occasion.There’s always a drink offered – I can particularly recommend the hot chocolate!The parking is free and I’ve never not been able to find a space.They’ve got a useful app where you can see last minute availability and this is also available on the website. Their transparent pricing structure is on the website too. The only thing not on there is the price of children’s cuts – these are very reasonable.Overall a brilliant salon with a brilliant team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them – and often do!

I make a 70 mile round trip to have my hair cut and highlighted by Gemma at Energy Hair. I am always delighted with the results. The team are lovely and the atmosphere relaxing. My hair has been in much better condition since using them as they use quality colouring products. Gemma is Delightful. Recommend them 100%.

Had to knock one star off because of the increase in noise since the refurb at the beginning of 2017. No getting around it, I’m afraid. It’s so bad it puts me clean off Saturday visits. Happily there are evenings available, so if I book well enough in advance I can avoid the weekends. The therapy chairs at the sinks took a bit of getting used to – you’ll either love or hate the experience but happily the choice is yours, and the lighting effects are very soothing.
