Our Story

Hair Salon Exeter

We were born in 1998 when Nathan & his father Geoffrey set out to bring high-quality hairdressing & luxury customer service to the South West. The N and G in their names is what inspired and created our salon name ‘Energy!’. The dictionary definition of the word Energy is ‘the feeling that you are full of physical power & life’, and in this gave spark to our salon ethos and mission as a hair lifestyle brand, which is ‘to uplift & empower women with fabulous hair, so they feel celebrated every day!’.

Our Vision

Looking great is a feeling right? When you know you are your best self, on top of your game, relaxed but in control, looking beautiful and feeling on form.

It is our vision that each & every one of our guests feels like this after experiencing our salon. Because going to the hairdressers should be about so much more than just getting your hair done.

It is an experience that will get you back to you. A proper pamper that helps you unwind, leaves you feeling great, & looking better than you ever have.

We love to learn and are passionate about refining our craft, so felt it made sense to invest in our own hair training programme! Partnering with Cheynes and using our 20+ years of expertise we deliver in-house training including an apprenticeship scheme. This programme has successfully developed a lot of home-grown talent including some of our most senior stylists today!
